Our association took its birth in Karnataka in the year 1982.This was due to the efforts of Sri Brahmanandam and Sri. C.E. Fernandiz. Registered under Societies act the name was finalized as State bank of India Pensioners`Association, (Karnataka) having its office at Bangalore .

Sri A.V. Nagaswamy (not with us now) took up the task of building this organization being the Secretary of the Association for a period of 15 years .He toured all over Karnataka to identify and meet the existing pensioners to register them as members of the association. For this yeoman service everyone remembers Sri Nagaswamy.
